Fromt the album, Knives.
wil Francis(vocals) sold his car to raise money for the band's first release, Our Gang's Dark Oath in 2003. Through self marketing, especially the handing out of self made CDs, they signed to Victory Records in 2004.
It's an entirely different artistic avenue when a band can take a vision and not only use it in their music, but also in their outward appearance. In this case it's the horror theme that carries through both the video and the track. The priest-like outfit wil is wearing at the end really stands out with all that happened beforehand...

Escape the Fate eyeing 10 Miles Wide
From the album, This War Is Ours.
Ronnie Radke(former lead singer) and Max Green(bass) used Myspace to complete the vision for their band. They then went on to win a radio contest that placed them as the opening act for My Chemical Romance, which in turn led to a record deal with Epitaph records.
Straight out of the imaginary rock and roll handbook of life, the structure for "10 Miles Wide" was found. Girls and more girls, and even a very weak parody of "Snakes On a Plane." Ron Jeremy was on that flight, would not want to be the cleanup crew...

Attack Attack! eyeing Stick Stickly
From the album, Someday Came Suddenly.
Someday Came Suddenly is the band's debut album. They are known to have both hardcore and trance elements in their music. They used their repertoire on the Punk Goes Pop 2 album performing Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl.
Looks like the band tries their hardest to be the first choreographed headbangers. Even some of the jumps are strangely in unison. Then the running man is employed during the trance section. Look out Usher...

Billy Talent eyeing Rusted From The Rain
Directed by Wayne Isham from the album, Billy Talent III.
With home base in Canada, the band took ten years from their emergence in 1993 to gain mainstream success. They have since gone on to have two albums reach multi-platinum success in their home country.
From the darkness comes light, and in this case, from the mangled metal trash thrown away came a childhood mainstay. Don't think parents would let them ride though...

Alexisonfire eyeing Young Cardinals
Directed by Marc Ricciardelli from the album, Old Crows / Young Cardinals.
One of the members speaks about being in the band. "Even on the worst days of playing in a band, it's still better than the best day at whatever other job I've ever had in my life, whether that was working in some video store, some crappy retail place, or a cherry factory in Southern Ontario". [MusicianGuide] The video was shot on The Maid of the Mist, at the Niagara Falls.
Looks like everyone was having fun, even if being constantly drenched. An intimate performance....
